World Sepsis Day is a global awareness event held every 13th September to educate and unite people in the fight against sepsis, a life-threatening condition. It promotes prevention, early recognition, and proper treatment.

Sepsis is a severe medical condition that arises when the body’s response to infection causes injury to its own tissues and organs. It can lead to septic shock, multiple organ failure, and depth, especially if not recognised early and treated promptly.
